T-Mobile Discloses Second Data Breach of 2023 Affecting Hundreds of Customers

T-Mobile has revealed its second data breach of 2023. The company discovered that hackers had obtained access to the personal data of several hundred customers from late February to March 2023. Although the number of customers affected is relatively small (836), the amount of exposed information is significant, leaving the affected individuals vulnerable to identity theft and phishing attacks. T-Mobile has assured customers that its unauthorized activity alert system worked as intended, and the company sent out notification letters to impacted individuals on Friday, April 28, 2023. This latest incident comes after a previous data breach that impacted 37 million people.
