NHS Highland, a health board in Scotland, has been fined £90,000 by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) for a data breach that revealed the HIV status of 37 patients. The breach occurred when an individual sent an email to the health board's sexual health clinic email account, but mistakenly included all recipients' email addresses in the "To" field instead of using the "Bcc" field.
