Another new ransomware to be discovered this week is Cylance Ransomware, that appears to be targeting both Linux and Windows operating systems. Cylance Ransomware, (not to be confused with Cylance Cyber Security) has already conducted attacks on several companies. The ransom note received by victims was published by Palo Alto Networks Unit 42 which contains the attackers’ email addresses, but surprisingly not the ransom amount.
